A thank you note on Christmas

Hello everyone (from the Lopez family),

It’s Christmas season and We are so thankful for all the support we have received from you. As the end of this weird year is approaching, we wanted to update all of you.

We had the last appointment of the year with the specialists as we prepare for the surgery.
JJ needed hearing aids to stimulate his hearing nerve (Cochlea) while we save up the cost of the surgery as time is sensitive to avoid loss of motor skills.

We met Leonardo Rivera who is the father of Anabella that was also implanted by the same specialists in our country. Leonardo loaned us his daughter’s hearing aids (a $8000 value).

Enjoy seeing Anabella hearing for the first time with Cochlear implants.

We had the gift to see JJ hearing for the first time. We experienced happiness, our hearts exploded and we were filled with hope again. 🥰😭

See JJ hear for this first time in his short life:

It’s true, We received the worst diagnosis that as parents you can receive. We were depressed, sad and hopeless because we didn’t know if there was a solution for our son’s hearing issues.
After looking for help and knocking doors, we saw the light at the end of the tunnel but we were again challenged with the cost of the solution.

We can’t thank you enough for your notes of appreciation, prayers and valuable donations. We have a long way to go but we have a hope and we have the certaintity that we will reach the goal with the help of all of you.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

With love,
Our little Lopez family.

We are grateful for all the support we have received from all of you, but we want to give special thanks to a few individuals that have invested their time, energy to support our cause.

  1. Walter, my very close dear friend has same issues, literally two days ago we bought her new hearing aids, one of the very top model on the market – half that price – pm me and we will see if we can do sth with it:)

    • Hey Mike, thanks for your comment.
Unfortunately, JJ needs Cochlear Implants because his hearing loss is profound so hearing aids won’t work. I will PM you always 🙂
